Welcome to The Wallpaper Shrine. Here you can find high resolution video game, anime and manga wallpapers (resolutions up to 1600x1200 or for widescreen; 1920x1200, and for a few even 2048x1536 for 4:3 and 2560x1600 for 16:10!) for your Linux, Windows, or Mac OS X desktop. If you wish to take part and upload your own wallpapers, click the "register" link in the menu to the right. If you are registered you can upload wallpapers, comment and rate wallpapers and send messages to other members.

Added a image resizing tool for resizing wallpapers to your preferred resolution. Check it out here.

Added support for 2560x1600 and 2048x1536 wallpapers! At the moment, only new wallpapers uploaded will be found at these resolutions, but old wallpapers will be upscaled some time in the future.

Updated to a more tidy layout to avoid all the table-clutter.

After a couple of weeks the website is coming along fine, some bugs have been fixed and almost 150 wallpapers have been uploaded. As it is now, we have many anime wallpapers, but not a lot of game wallpapers, so if you have any game wallpapers on your computer, it would be much appreciated if you uploaded them!

wpshrine.com opened today. Not many wallpapers yet, all that's here so far are ones that has been uploaded during closed beta. Please let us know if you find any bugs or encounter any problems. And if you have any good suggestions for changes or new features, please tell!
